RustyWorks RCE Guides

Casino & Wheel

Let players gamble their wallet balance on 12 classic games, spin a Lucky Wheel for prizes, buy Scratch Cards, run a raid-door minigame, or risk-reward with Rob — all on your server's own currency.

Time: 5 mins to turn on
Difficulty: Beginner
Requirements: Owner / Co-Owner / Head Admin

There's no separate "casino currency" — every bet, win and loss runs through the same wallet balance the rest of the Economy module uses. Turn on a master switch, choose which games are active, and players can start playing straight away with /eco wallet as their bankroll. Settings are per Rust server, so if you run more than one server, each can have completely different games, prices and odds.

⚠️

Set up Economy & Shop first

Casino & Wheel has no currency of its own — it spends and pays out through the wallet configured on the Economy & Shop page. Set that up before turning gambling on.

Dashboard Settings

Open Casino & Wheel on your dashboard and pick a server. It has three tabs: Core & Games, Scratch Cards and Raid System.

💣

How Mines pays out

Mines is played on a 20-tile board with a configurable number of mines hidden in it. Each safe tile you reveal raises your multiplier — the more mines on the board and the more tiles you clear before cashing out, the bigger the payout — with a flat 4% house edge built in. The other 11 games don't have their odds or payout tables on this page; each has its own in-game rules explained when you play it.

Scratch Cards

Three independently configurable tiers — Low 🟢, Medium 🟡, High 🔴 — each with its own name, price, and list of Discord role prizes.

FieldWhat it controls
Card Name / PriceDisplay name and cost to buy a card of that tier.
Win Chance %Each prize role's own, independent chance of winning — e.g. two roles both set to 5% each have a 5% chance, not a combined 5%.
Alt MoneyPaid instead of the role if the player already owns it.

Raid System

A satchel-throwing minigame played against in-game doors — the dashboard describes it as "players throw satchels at in-game doors to win rewards, but one dud ends the run." Configure per door tier (Wood 🪵 / Metal 🔩 / HQM 🧱):

FieldWhat it controls
Break Chance %Chance that door breaks on a given attempt.
Reward PricePayout if it breaks. Leave at 0 and the bot calculates a reward from your current economy settings automatically.
Jackpot BonusOptional toggle to add a bonus prize on top of the standard reward.

Lucky Wheel and Rob have their own settings, in Discord

These two aren't on the dashboard page — configure them with /gamble-config in Discord instead, described below. They also each run on their own independent on/off switch, separate from the Master Gamble Switch above.

Discord Commands

CommandWhoWhat it does
/gamble-configOwner / Co-Owner / Head AdminThe full staff control panel — everything on the dashboard, plus Lucky Wheels and Rob settings. Private to whoever opens it.
/luckywheel daily / weekly / monthlyEveryone (linked)Spins the chosen wheel publicly in the channel. Requires that wheel to be enabled and, if the owner set one, a specific role to use it.

Lucky Wheel

Three independent wheels — Daily, Weekly and Monthly — each rewarding money or a Discord role. Configure each from /gamble-config → Lucky Wheels:

  • Max spins per player in that window, and an optional cost per spin (0 = free) taken from their wallet before spinning.
  • Money prizes use a weighted spread that favors smaller amounts — wins near your configured minimum are common, wins near your maximum are rare, by design.
  • Role prizes are evaluated as one shared pool: all your configured role odds are added together first to decide if a role is won at all, then which specific role, weighted by each one's own %. If the winning role can't be granted (already owned, deleted, etc.) the player gets its "Alt Money" instead, or a random amount in your Min–Max range.
  • Role prizes can optionally expire automatically after a set number of hours.
  • There's always some chance of landing on "Nothing" — a spin can cost currency and win nothing, and that still counts as a loss in a player's gambling stats.
🎯

Wheel role odds work differently from Scratch Card role odds

On a Scratch Card, every role's win chance is rolled on its own. On the Lucky Wheel, all configured role chances share one combined pool capped at 100%. Keep this in mind when setting percentages — the same number means something different on each feature.

Rob

Lets one linked player attempt to steal a slice of another's wallet, configured entirely from /gamble-config → Rob:

FieldWhat it controlsDefault
Success Chance %Chance an attempt succeeds.25%
Steal % (Min–Max)How much of the victim's wallet is taken on a successful rob.2–10%
Fail Penalty %Portion of the attacker's own wallet lost on a failed attempt.2%
Min Victim / Attacker WalletMinimum balance required to be robbable, or to attempt a rob.No minimum
Max Attacks/Day, Attacker CooldownHow often one player can attempt a rob.1/day, 24h cooldown
Victim ShieldHow long a player is protected after being robbed.24 hours
Immunity RolesRoles that can never be robbed.None

Prerequisites & Good to Know

  • Set up the Economy & Shop module first — Casino & Wheel spends and pays into that same wallet, and uses its currency name.
  • Players need a linked account to use the Lucky Wheel, and very likely the rest of the module since everything shares the same wallet system.
  • The Master Gamble Switch and Global Max Bet only govern the 12 listed games — the Lucky Wheel, Rob, Raid and Scratch Cards each have their own separate on/off switch and aren't affected by either.
  • Changes made from the dashboard can take up to about a minute to show up for players in Discord, since settings are cached briefly on the bot's side.
  • A deliberate spin-lock stops players spamming the Lucky Wheel command mid-animation to grab extra spins.
  • Only Owner, Co-Owner or Head Admin can open /gamble-config — and only the staff member who opened it can use its buttons.
